Happy Feraren

Happy has been practising improv theatre for over a decade in the Philippines with her group SPIT whose founder, Gabe Mercado, was trained by Paul Sills in 2002.

She has performed in over 500 shows in a wide range of improvisational theatre formats for both cultural and corporate audiences.

Her training includes work with visiting improvisers to the Philippines, most notably, Jason Chin, Shaun Landry, Patrick Noth (UCB), and TJ Medel (The Second City).

At the Chicago Improv Festival, she’s done workshops at The Second City with Jonathan Pitts, Rachel Mason, Andrew Eniger, and Kevin Mullaney.

Happy has performed at different international improv festivals in Chicago, New York, Hong Kong, and Amsterdam and has also helped produce Asia’s largest international improv festival, the biennial Manila Improv Festival.
