Floyd Alexander-Hunt

Floyd Alexander-Hunt is a comedian and actress who had a number of television roles in New Zealand (Agent Anna, The Politically Incorrect Guide to Parenting Teenagers and The Devil Dared Me To) before moving to Australia to study acting at VCA.

In 2014 Floyd performed in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival with Impromptunes and The Improv Conspiracy. She then studied with Philippe Gaulier at his school in Paris in both clown and character.

Fully trained in long form as well as musical improvisation Floyd returned to Sydney in 2015 after performing with The Second City and Improv Olympic in Chicago.

Recently she completed a music composition degree at the University of Sydney, won the Golden Gavel Stand-up Comedy Competition for all of NSW and won the Patron’s Choice Award at the National Golden Gavel Stand-up Comedy Competition.

She is a regular comic on several stand-up comedy nights around Sydney and was assistant director of the Sydney University Law Revue.

In addition to her background as a comic, Floyd works as a producer at Channel 9 and in various roles at the Sydney Opera House.
