Josh Magee Joins the LMA Roster

LMA is thrilled to announce the addition of Josh Magee to our ever expanding roster of Teacher talent. Josh will begin teaching Improv Level 1 starting in Term 2, 2017. Josh has been active on the scene for many years and some of you may recognise him from his infamous appearance at LMA’s monthly NIGHT SHIFT at The Factory show as part of “The Brothers Magee, No Relation,” where he performed with the actually unrelated, Alistair Magee.

Josh is an improviser, actor & screenwriter originally from Perth, WA. He started improvising as part of his high school Theatresports team “Dead Parrots Society”, which went on to win the WA State Theatresports Finals in 2007. Since then, he has been a two-time grand finalist in the Sydney University Theatresports competition. Josh has trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade in LA, Impro Australia, Improv Theatre Sydney. He has been a member of several improv troupes such as “The Big Hoo-Haa”, “Post-Its”, “Garden of Edan,” and in his own solo show “Moving Right Along with Lyndon Twemlow” which toured to the Perth & Sydney Fringe Festivals. Josh has a BA in Film & Performance Studies from Curtin University, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Screenwriting from AFTRS.

Josh is excited to be joining the LMA family and looks forward to more and more long form improv.
